Soccer Expert Chris Sutton Battles Artist Olly Murs in Top Flight Predictions
The Gunners' 10-game victorious streak came to an end by the Black Cats prior to the global hiatus, however can the English top division frontrunners bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," remarked soccer specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, against AI, fans and a variety of guests.
In week 12, he takes on singer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
The singer's new album, the new release, is out on Friday.
Football and Family Life
Olly is a talented footballer as well as a successful artist and has been a featured player of several Soccer Aid matches over time - but he is not intending a professional return as a player.
"{I recently played in a benefit match the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "My side was losing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my child or son chooses to play instead."
Murs and his wife Amelia Tank have two children, their daughter and their son, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their coach.
"I will not push football on our children but I've previously told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their weekend soccer side," he said.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a period too.
"My father coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I get it from. He coached our team for several seasons and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Premier League Predictions
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea might have to be patient for their star's return from fitness issues but their attack is already stronger with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
I still think this game will be fairly tight, however. The Clarets are well organised and their sole at Turf Moor losses so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
It suggests a 1-1 tie to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
The expert's forecast: 1-2
Olly's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have been defeated in their previous couple games - albeit both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, the Hammers won back-to-back victories before the international break and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they do look strong again.
The Hammers' sole away victory this campaign came at Forest in the summer, when their manager Nuno was still that team's coach.
Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - will it be West Ham continuing their run under Nuno, or the home side bouncing back?
I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I believe what occurred against Aston Villa was a blip.
Sutton's prediction: 2-0
Olly's prediction: Bournemouth are doing well but the visitors have picked up under Nuno. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the frontrunners for relegation before the season started, but they have surprised a several people under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three in their last four games.
My son told me to select Bees striker Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.
Thiago will probably score again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support the away side at Brighton's ground.
They have not had great success on the road this season, and Brighton are consistently strong at home. Brentford will try to attack on the break but I feel the home manager's side pose much more of a threat.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
The singer's view: It could be a match where you expect there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality proves to be quite tight. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six matches.
They have have lots of quality in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be dragged into a drop zone fight.
As for Sunderland, well they are the surprise package of the Premier League season so far.
The away side's performance in the two-all draw with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We've not seen anyone else rough up the North London side like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.
The sensible thing would be to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of roughing Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of October.
However I am not going to do that. Rather, I really need to continue opposing the away team with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they clearly love to defy my predictions.
Considering Fulham's at Craven Cottage form, the only side they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Their manager's side will be absolutely eager for a positive result, so I am going to say they will pick up three points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
The guest's choice: I know Sunderland are performing strongly and also that Fulham are on a poor run... but they have still been respectable at home this season. 2-0
The algorithm's prediction: 2-0

This is a tough one to call. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 matches in every tournament, but might they be among the sides who profit from the {international break|
